Over 40 Years ago, with a single Ford Escort, Market Car Hire was formed on the corner of Market Street in Nairobi. One of the first few car rental businesses in Kenya, the owners walked home when their only car was rented out. Today the company has grown to one of the largest car rental companies in Kenya.

Market Car Hire boasts a fleet of over 130 vehicles, with a selection of large and small 4X4s, Saloon vehicles and passenger buses, all owned and maintained in house.
